Following the release of Photoshop.com for the iPhone, Adobe has now announced the debut of the Android version. Photoshop.com for Android now allows on the go consumers easy image editing options and tools, color adjustments and photo sharing capabilities, something that has been growing for the past months. The Photoshop.com Mobile also allows users to browse photos online or via their mobile phone with the application. The Photoshop.com Mobile for Android is free for download at the Android Market.

Rogers Wireless has released the Nokia Surge, a quick-messaging device that should be ideal for mobile device multi-tasking individuals requiring a lot from their handy mobile device. The phone is based on the Symbian OS, where users can run multiple applications such as instant messaging and media files simultaneously. Armed with a QWERTY keyboard, it also comes with powerful browsing capabilities.

The Nokia Surge is now available at Rogers Wireless in Canada for only $29.99 with a 3-year contract.

  • Spring Designs has introduced Alex, the first e-book based on the Google Android carrying full browsing capabilities as well as dual screen interaction technology, the Duet Navigator. The Alex combines the ability to read on a monochrome EPD screen while displaying the dynamic hyperlinked information on the secondary screen in full color. Alex is the first Google Android-based e-book device to provide full Internet browsing over Wi-Fi or mobile networks such as 3G, EVDO/CDMA and GSM.

    There is no word yet on when the Alex would be made available since Spring Design is still in talks with major content providers. Hopefully something definite would come out at the end of the year.

    Nokia 6350 Unveiled

    The Nokia 6350 which will be carried by AT&T this coming October 4 has been announced. The Nokia 6350 is a low-end phone that features a 2 megapixel camera, web browser, email capabilities and 3G connectivity. It is encased in a simple gray and red colored-theme which should be a prime target for the youth-oriented mobile phone addicts. It will retail for $29.99 after a mail-in rebate on a 2-year contract.
