Wow that title is so long I shouldn’t give you any more explanations. However the James Bond C902 Cybershot from Sony Ericsson deserves some attention. After all we are talking about James Bond here.
The phone is a limited edition Titanium silver handset meant to promote the latest Bond movie, the “Quantum of Solace”. You get special colors, Bond wallpapers and screen savers and a spy game demo. Other than that the C902 is exactly the same phone we already know. The special edition will be released sometime in Q4 2008, possibly around the official release of the movie. There aren’t any official pictures yet, but when we have them you’ll get them too!

Sony Ericsson’s new phone, the C902, has made an appearance at the good ol’ FCC. The device is now approved, and should hit the world markets soon. The C902 is another phone in the Cybershot series and compatible with UMTS/HSDPA 2100 and tri-band GSM networks. The camera on this baby is pretty sophisticated, including autofocus, flash, face detection and video capabilities.
Transfering photos onto a PC is easy: you can do it over Bluetooth or USB. You can also print pictures by connecting the camera to a compatible printer. Other usual niceties include PhotoDJ and VideoDJ to manage/edit your photos and video clips. The C902 supports Memory Stick Micro (M2) memory card.
No word on the pricing, but the Sony Ericsson C902 Cybershot phone will be available — check back with us later.

While the C702 strayed a bit with its GPS functionality, the C902 cell phone stays true to the Cybershot name focusing more on its camera capabilities. Within its sleek and slim form factor, the C902 houses a 5-megapixel camera with Face Detection, Auto Focus, Photo Flash, and BestPic technology, which enables shooting up to 9 pictures in quick succession. On the music side, it’s not that different from the C702 with Mega Bass, TrackID, FM Radio, and music tones. The Access NetFront browser seems to be becoming the standard browser for all upcoming Sony Ericsson devices along with RSS feed support, as was the case with the Sony Ericsson’s recent K series and W Series phones.
Like the C702, the Sony Ericsson C902 is slated for a mid-2008 release.
