Here’s a great idea coming from T-Mobile that might make you consider leaving AT&T or Verizon Wireless and start buying BlackBerry phones. T-Mobile is willing to let BlackBerry phone owners make calls over WiFi networks. The only condition is for these BlackBerry phones to have been purchased by a company and distributed to its employees. That’s right, T-Mobile’s newest offer will be available to corporations only.
How it all works? It’s actually very simple. Employees will be able to make WiFi calls while at work which will significantly reduce cell phone costs for the employer. Whenever they leave the office space and the local WiFi network, the calls will automatically switch to T-Mobile’s network. Too bad this brilliant idea doesn’t apply to regular consumers and regular phones!

Unlike other big names in the mobile business, Samsung managed to bring in some cash in the first quarter of 2009. Overall the company has done batter than in the last quarter of 2008 bringing in a total of $459 million. The sad part for Samsung is that a 72% drop compared to the same period of last yer. As for Samsung’s mobile division, it has grown 36% in revenue which is pretty good considering the current times. With all the phones Samsung announced at the beginning of the year, we’d be surprised for it not to make a profit. We expect Samsung to sell even more phones in the following months as more handsets will be unveiled.

It was recently announced that Systemax has made haste and snatched up both the Circuit City brand and domain name for a cool $6.5 million.
Apparently Circuit City Incorporated will stay on board and net an unspecified share of sales under the brand name.
Does this all mean that Circuit City will be making a reappearance? Possibly shifting to an online only retailer? Only time will tell.

As we head into the weekend, I thought it was about time MW shared a few SEO tips for webmasters that we have learn’t while being on the internet. SEO is changing all the time and there is probably countless numbers of ways to get good positions in search engines, here are some of my top 10 tips that I think help.
1. One have your site focused on a single topic, don’t try to cover all things on the one site.
2. Quality: I have found that the best written and most interesting articles on there subject find there way creeping up search engine results.
3. Title: use your keyword in the title and make the title as interesting as pos, so your site will attract a search engine visitors attention. I’m sure some system is in place where the site that gets he most clicks gets a high position in a search engine.
4. Categories and Tags - spread your stories into all your tags and categories.
5. Try to get a good PR rank on your homepage, categories, tags etc etc.
6. I have found recently that linking to old and really old stories in articles and having a related links list helps.
7. Back links: If your stories are good your going to get some good back links coming through, also actively per sue getting back links from sites you think might add some value to your site site, I have found sites in the same field as you are in are goodbacklinks and links from very old sites in a similar fields as your site as well, (say hey if you link to me sometimes I’ll link to you, the people who link to us sometimes, we have abosulety no association with them at all, i have never even met them and i don’t know who they are, they choose to link to who ever they like.), if you got a few good sites link to them often this might help as well.
8. Also i have noticed lately that covering a single topic often over a period of time can help boost you site in search engine results
9. As you can see in the left hand column of my site i have a friends list on all the pages of my site and they do the same in return, I’m sure this helps a bit.
My money making tips: If your out to make some income from your site here is what has worked best for MW.
1. Google adsense does very well on my site, they allow three on a single page and I have found the the mid size square ones do the best.
2. Textlink ads from Vibrantmedia in articles do good
3. Chikita and Shopping.com and do very well on this site as it is product related and people can see the product they want and get it quickly from the product the list.
There are many gadget sites out there the do best fo write about stuff but have not many sources.
These are my five sources.
1. Press.
2. Other blogs, the big guns but always say via, not the everyday guy on the street unless you have there permission and you don’t go over the top of them.
3. Asia and the FCC but get it yourself and you might have to use gurillala tactics out there against though tricky blogs.
4. China, Japan, Korea and Asia that you have permission from and by directly linking to them might help them out a bit in there countries search engine.
SEO is cool, something new is always popping up. Try everything you can think off, have a passion for what you do, hang in there, work hard and soon you will a awesome internet biz. Compete as honestly and as fairly as posssible.
