All The Latest Cell Phone, Gadget and Tech News

Glu Mobile releases the third app associated with the famed Transformers. And with the launch of the latest move, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Glu Mobile now brings us the Transformers CyberToy. Designed for the iPhone and iPod Touch owners, the Transformers CyberToy is like a virtual action figure where you can customize it such as transforming it from car to robot and vice versa.

“TRANSFORMERS CyberToy is a completely new type of application from Glu, allowing players to transform characters from vehicle to robot by utilizing the touch screen to interact with their favorite TRANSFORMERS in a virtual environment.”

Features:

  • Action Figure Mode – choose different poses, play sounds and animations, and deploy their signature weapons
  • Challenge Mode – change from robot to vehicle and back as quickly as possible by a series of taps, touches, shakes and tilts
  • View Tech Specs – see details of each mighty TRANSFORMERS robot, including OPTIMUS PRIME, BUMBLEBEE, MEGATRON and STARSCREAM—application launches with BUMBLEBEE, and other characters will be added via updates over time

The Transformers CyberToy is now available at the Apple app store for only $0.99.

Perhaps many have forgotten the routine. Before any great movie would hit the big screens, a teaser game would normally come out some week before. And for the record, Transformers II: Revenge of the Fallen is slated to hit theaters soon thus making this newly launched game from Glu Mobile not really surprising.

The game features explosive action based on the upcoming film TRANSFORMERS: Revenge of the Fallen, from DreamWorks Pictures and Paramount Pictures, in association with Hasbro, due out June 24th.

Features:

  • Multiple Characters – Play as both AUTOBOTS leader OPTIMUS PRIME as well as the heroic BUMBLEBEE
  • Authentic Fight Scenes – Battle DECEPTICONS in hand-to-hand combat with awesome combos to devastate the enemies, then transform into vehicle mode to engage new attacks and race to new areas
  • Varied Settings – Set in worldwide locations from the movie with all key AUTOBOTS and DECEPTICONS in action
  • Movie Scenarios – Get help from AUTOBOTS and human allies, including RACHET, IRONHIDE and NEST
  • Extended Gameplay – Play up to nine explosive levels with multiple objectives for the AUTOBOTS to complete

So if you are a Transformers die hard, this is one game you should not pass up. There is no question that this is a game to have as we brace ourselves for the showing of the blockbuster sequel to the Transformers. The game is available worldwide.
