Alltel to sell Samsung Glint, too

Earlier today we let you know that Alltel was gearing up to launch the BlackBerry Tour for $199.99 on a 2-year contract. Now, we have another phone set to hit the service except this one is a bit less feature intensive.

The above phone in question is the Samsung Glint, a low cost handset for the budget conscious consumer that features a VGA camera, stereo Bluetooth and comes in pink and blue versions.

The Samsung Glint is reportedly on sale now for Alltel although it has yet to appear on the carrier’s website.

Originally thought to be only launching in the UK, Nokia’s 7020 has recently made its way through the FCC and gained approval.

As you can see, this phone isn’t exactly top of the line but is sure to be priced alongside other budget phones on the market. The 7020 is apparantly EDGE only but features a 2MP camera and internal display with no word on resolution or size.

There’s no telling what carrier this will be on as EngadgetMobile points out, there are no brandings to be found. However, once we hear of a price point and/or carrier we will notify you.

LG announces not-so-great GB130

Thought LG’s BL40 was cool? Get ready for their recently launched GB130, a phone sure to impress, well, no one besides those on a budget.

As you can see, the GB130 is pretty simple with its 2-inch 160 x 120 resolution screen, FM radio and slide out number pad. Nope, no touchscreen, no app store, but it does have a reported 6.5 hours of talk time.

LG’s GB130 is set to launch for the Russian market at some point in the near future for 2,990 rubles or about $90.
