All The Latest Cell Phone, Gadget and Tech News

In case you were wondering if you can paint using the iPhone well the simplest answer is that, yes, you can paint, and there are various apps “for that”. And if you’re going to paint using your iPhone or iPod touch then you might as well get inspired by an artist. David Hockney has been using various gadgets to work his magic and now he is painting with his iPhone. His iPhone paintings have been exhibited at the Tate Gallery and Royal Academy in London and in various Los Angeles and German locations. The artist has been using the initial version of Brushes so that’s the app to get if you’re planning to start your painting career on your iPhone.

iPhones Used as a Painting Tool

Now the iPhone becomes a paint brush. What could possibly be next? Well if you have seen a copy of the New Yorker lately, don’t be surprised if you hear that it was all done with the use of an iPhone with a certain application ironically called Brushes.

Though it seems hard to believe how you can make a miniature device create such graphics given its small screen, one person was able to do it. The person is Jorge Colombo, a recurring artist who got his iPhone just last February and installed the Brushes application.
