German and Italian customers interested in that hot Nokia Internet Tablet, the N900 Rover, can now pre-order it while they wait for Nokia to make the device available. Both German and Italian Nokia web stores have the N900 available for pre-order for just 600 Euros or just about $860, with free shipping. The N900 will be delivered to your home by October 1 or even earlier and we should expect Nokia to open pre-sales in other markets too. It looks like the N900 is even more expensive than the Booklet 3G which is certainly strange. What about you? Interested in getting the N900 or would you rather get the Booklet 3G?

  • After we’ve seen the first Nokia netbook get launched earlier this week, we can certainly assume that Nokia will not stop here. In fact it looks like Nokia has big plans for the near future. After the Booklet 3G, the company is getting ready to launch an ARM-based smartbook sometime next year. We don’t have all the details just yet but it’s said that the smartbook will be launched in mid-2010 and that Foxconn Electronics or Compal Electronics are the companies that are going to produce the new Nokia gadget.

  • Nokia Booklet 3G to Cost You $799?

Nokia’s first laptop was unveiled yesterday and today we find out that it could cost a lot more than we’d be willing to pay for it. Just because it says Nokia on it that doesn’t mean the regular consumer would pay $799 for a netbook. After all that’s what the Booklet 3G is, a netbook, and the rumored price, $799, seems like an awful lot of money to spend on it. Considering that Apple’s future tablet is rumored to cost somewhere in the same neighborhood we’d definitely advice Nokia to reconsider the price for the Booklet. Otherwise people are simply going to choose similar netbooks which are a lot cheaper than Nokia’s first computer.

  • Yesterday we told you how Nokia plans to launch Cseries phones and today we have more hot rumors for you. The Finnish company is also going to launch Xseries handsets, Nokia Money service and Booklet computers soon. Besides these trademarks we are to expect even more new names from Nokia.

The Xseries will cover the new Maemo 5 handsets while Nokia Money is supposed to be a new platform for mobile financially transactions. Booklet on the other hand will deal with netbooks, smartbooks and other ultra-portable computers. Now that we have the names we need some proof of their existence!
