In case you are looking for a new Bluetooth headset this Sunday, we have just the thing from Motorola. Actually they are two things, the H270 and the H390.

The H270 is a simple Bluetooth headset with just one call/end conversation button and two volume keys. It will get you up to 6 hours of talk time and up to 6 days of standby time.

The H390 has a better battery which will get you a total of 8 continuous hours of talk time and up to 8 days of standby time. It has a LED which changes color like a traffic light. When it reaches red you should recharge the device.

The Philips Luxe MP3 player featured in the picture above is a simple music player offering 2GB of memory, 10 hours of battery life and a small LCD screen. But this gadget is a double agent. It will also work as a Bluetooth 2.1 headset which will get you 100 hours of standby time, an FM radio and great sound quality. It will stop the music to take incoming calls if you were wondering. So yes, this might be a nice addition to the gadgets you already have bought for your handsets.

The device will arrive in Singapore next month and it will cost around $94. Looking forward for it to hit other markets too!

How good is the battery of your wireless headset? Does it let speak throughout the busy work day? Well in case you need an alternative power source consider your body movements for getting some energy to that tiny battery.

Imagine a simple thing like wiggling your head. Shake the head to get electricity for your headset device. That’s what a new patent talks about. Whenever such product will be available, provided it’s going to offer good quality calls besides the interesting battery recharge mode, it will be a must have product for quite a crowd. For now we don’t actually know if such a device exists yet.

I am looking for Bluetooth headsets from time to time but I very rarely tend to use one. It would free my hands in more cases but I am just too used to picking up the phone when I need to talk to anyone. Today I found this Sony DR-BT140QP and fell in love with its name immediately.

    Plantronics.jpg

Ruggedized notebooks or cell phones is nothing new but Plantronics now brings the moniker to the sissy world of Bluetooth headsets with the Explorer 370. This sturdy headset can talk the talk (yes, pun intended!) with 7 hours of talktime and 8 days on standby and walk its water/dust/shock-resistant walk, being military standard and all. Apart from its tough exterior, there is also “windscreen technology” effectively filtering out noise no matter where you are and QuickPair for smooth pairing with your ruggedized cell phone.

The Explorer 370 will be available starting in March for a suggested price of $79.95 with its less hardy Explorer 360 sibling priced at $69.95.
