The timing of the release of this app couldn’t have come at a better time! Cyoshi Games has announced the availability of the Scary App – The iPhone Prank which pretends to be a skills test where users will have to navigate a silver marble through a wooden maze by tilting their iPhone or the iPod Touch. Now you don’t have to finish the game. Hand the game over to another person you want to play the prank on and sucker them into believing you cannot finish all the three levels.

Once the one playing is at level 3, a grotesque screaming face will turn up in the middle of the level which is bound to scare the lights off that person. A harmless prank that is fit for the Halloween season! The Scary App: The iPhone Prank (iLabyrinth)-Screamer is available at the iTunes app store for $0.99.

Here is a demo video of the app:

Apparently with much of the jobless presumed to have an iPhone in tow, this is one app that should help return a list of jobs that they can apply to with a single touch. The title of this app may sound like another kind of game app made for smartphones but Electric Pocket Limited’s BugMe! is really an alert-type of an app that assists phone users to create notes and set reminder alarms to make sure they don’t miss any important appointment or schedule. And considering the number of Blackberry owners in the market today, the release of the BugMe! app couldn’t have come at a better time. BugMe! will automatically sound an alarm and pop-up an alert at the exact moment a reminder is needed.

The BugMe! for Blackberry is now available at the BugMe! website for $2.99.
