All The Latest Cell Phone, Gadget and Tech News

Well ladies and gentlemen we have a great piece of news for you. A WiFi city isn’t something out of the ordinary. That’s where we’re headed. A Beijing WiFi city isn’t out of the ordinary either. The Chinese capital is set to become the biggest city to have WiFi coverage by 2011.

Will cell phone users be able to take advantage of all those WiFi spots? It would seem like they won’t. It’s only a logical conclusion. Remember that special iPhone for China? The one that will arrive without WiFi and 3G support? Well what if future Chinese smartphones are all going to arrive without a WiFi antenna? Will Beijing residents carry around WiFi-less smartphones despite the fact they would actually be surrounded by WiFi hotspots in 2011?

The slider boasts of a 5-megapixel camera, 7.2Mbps HSDPA support, Bluetooth 2.0, and a keypad with navigation indicators. Going now for 699,600 KRW (about $688).
