A while back ago everyone found out about Psystar’s decision to file for bankruptcy. And everyone assumed that the whole Apple vs Psystar conflict will draw to an end. Well guess what? Psystar is back from Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. In fact the company has new hardware to sell you.
Psystar is selling a new Open(7) system featuring Intel’s Nehalem Xeon and a new bootloader, the Darwin Universal Boot Loader. Is anyone going to buy it? We can definitely expect Apple to fire back so let’s make some popcorn and watch them fight.

Nokia Siemens is getting ready to pay $650 million to Nortel for all the LTE and CDMA assets of it. Nortel has been going through some tough times and consequently it filed for bankruptcy back in January 2009. That’s how Nokia Siemens ended up purchasing that huge LTE and CDMA chunk of Nortel which should come in handy some time in the future especially since Nokia is interested in strengthening its North American presence. The purchase should be completed by the third quarter of the year as soon as the US bankruptcy court and the Ontario Superior Court of Justice will approve it.

One of the most interesting trials we’ve seen lately was the Apple vs Psystar suit. We were really wondering who was going to win but it looks like we won’t get that answer anytime soon. Psystar can’t stay afloat anymore and it has filed for bankruptcy. Those Mac clones are going down folks and the economy is to blame. At least Apple and the world will be able to find out who are the creditors behind Psystar on that bankruptcy hearing on June 5th. We’ll bring you all the juicy details in case there are any.
