PorTable

PorTable

Laptops are supposed to add efficiency and portability to your work, but lugging around that bulky laptop can be anything but convenient. Now there is the PorTable from ItalianOriginale Design Creative Lab. It is a stylish laptop bag for your notebook that doubles as a portable workstation.

The PorTable encloses your notebook neatly and safely, and allows users to work on their systems without the need to pull them out of the bag, meanwhile the sleeves of the bag become a mousepad for both right orleft hand users. Furthermore, the PorTable is customizable with different accessories, materials, and dimensions to accommodate notebooks of various types and sizes.

  • Some people buy netbooks because they are really portable. Others buy them because they are really cheap. I can’t imagine why would anyone buy a netbook and immediately after go for a Goyard netbook bag that has twice the price of the netbook. What will such a bag do for you? Can it show pictures? Go online? Edit documents? No, it only wraps around your netbook to prevent it from scratching. But what if you saved the money and bought two more netbooks when the first one died?

Here’s an eco-friendly bag which also happens to charge your gadgets while you are walking. Isn’t it convenient right? Sakku is a solar bag maker from Switzerland and they have just added this new model to their already large solar bags inventory. This one is called Buddy and it’s made from recycled sun umbrellas and shades. How’s that for recycling? Add a very convenient bag too, the Buddy will charge your gadgets.

The Buddy is available in two variants. One is charging directly from the flexible solar panels while the ‘akku’ version has a rechargeable battery which stores energy for those rainy days. The price ranges from $275 to $384, depending on which model you end up choosing.
