Last month, the Samsung Galaxy Spica was spotted and was made available in Russia. Now the same Samsung Galaxy Spica I5700 has been made available in Europe, CIS and soon in the MEA region, providing a good choice for Android users and the ultimate mobile experience. It feature a 3.2” HVGA TFT display, a 3MP camera with autofocus, and 180MB of internal memory. Like most phones, it also makes use of a microSD slot which can be expanded up to 32GB, multimedia features for audio and video files and the usual Bluetooth connections.

  • Nokia N86 NAM Out by August 22

    Finally, a definite date of launch for the much awaited Nokia N86 NAM has been leaked. According to Nokia blog sources, the Nokia N86 Nam will officially come out this August 22 at U.S. stores. The Nokia N86 NAM was first mentioned to be coming to the U.S. last July but without any specific date. Now you can mark your calendars on when it will really be out.

    The Nokia N86 NAM boasts of an 8 megapixel camera with an autofocus and flash. It is 3G capable and has a 2.6” OLED display which runs at 240×320 QVGA resolution. The said price for the latest phone offering from Nokia is $499. But this early, if you are among the many people who are planning to get a hold of the Nokia N86 NAM, do check regularly for days near that date. The phones are rumored to be scheduled for delivery earlier than the said date.

  • LG is proud to announce that their GT500 handset has officially launched exclusively on T-Mobile UK.Sure, it’s no BL40 but the GT500 still packs a punch with its 3-inch touchscreen, 5MP camera with autofocus, image stabilization and digital zoom.

    Additionally, the GT500 will feature high quality built-in Dolby 2.0 sound (but no 3.5mm headphone jack) and A-GPS. To remedy the fact that it has no headphone jack LG will ship compatible headphones in the box. Storage wise it will feature 130MB of internal storage with a micro SD slot for expansion.

    No word on if we will ever see this device Stateside.

    LG Viewty Mobile Phone for Korea

    Another beauty from LG comes out in the open. The LG Viewty phone (LG-SH210/KH2100/LH2100) is a phone targeted at the Korea market. This has already been introduced to European countries in October 2007, and now has made inroads into its home market. Apparently, the name was chosen to signify viewing.

    Boasting a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and Schneider-Kreuznach lens, you can edit photos on the 3-inch touch screen using the handwriting features. If you are in Korea, you can also upload photos onto the LG Cyon homepage. The 3G model of the handset will be available through SKT, KTF and LGT carriers.

    It is available in dark silver and black, carrying a price tag of KRW 737,000 (approx US $800).

    W53CA Camera phone from Casio

    Casio has a new cell phone out. Called the Casio W53CA Exilim, the phone packs a punch with its 5 megapixel camera featuring autofocus and image stabilization. Is this going to be the new trend? Sony already has its Cybershot range of cell phones and Casio has the Exilim range. The phone features a F2.8 lens.

    For storage, the Casio W53CA offers a microSD memory card. It is available in red, white and black. Other goodies on the phone include a 2.8 inch wide VGA screen, integrated music player and Bluetooth support.
