Motorola Aura Diamond Edition

It would appear that the Mobiado 350 Pioneer is not the only expensive phone to hit the market. Motorola has its own super luxurious phone with the Aura Diamond edition. It has 30 diamonds, and has 18 carat gold coating. This will be on sale today for about $5,700.

  • He’s not a Terminator, he is a soccer player, and a very good one. However David Beckham accepted to play the role of a Terminator in a Motorola commercial for its Aura phone.

The Aura is a $2,000 phone which has nothing to do with the whole Terminator idea. Given the price I am sure people won’t get the Aura especially during these harsh economic times. So why would Motorola throw away money on a campaign that isn’t likely to bring in high profits? Why not invest in R&D? They badly need a Pre-like phone to take them out of the hole their in.

Motorola Aura - A Designer Phone

Motorola AuraWill people flock to designer cell phones the way they do to Rolex watches? Motorola is betting they will. The $1999 Motorola Aura is the first 16-million color circular display handset cell phone to be offered in the United States market, and is aimed at the luxury market. The sweetest feature of the luxury phone is its 1.55 inch diameter LCD screed with 300-ppi resolution and a scratch-resistant 62-carat sapphire-crystal lens to protect the lush view.

CrystalTalk voice-enhancement technology creates a superior audio experience as well. Other high end features include Internet connectivity, a fixed-focus camera, and a music player. The Aura was inspired by designer watches and is made with the same custom craftsmanship with a stainless-steel casing, a mirror-polish finish, and 700 separate components. The luxury phone is available only through Motorola at the Moto Store at www.motorola.com.

  • Motorola Aura Costs Just 2,000

Well I certainly don’t know what Motorola was drinking when it decided to launch a phone worth $2,000. That’s the price of the Aura. That’s the cellphone announced in October which is now available to purchase. That’s not that way to regain that number 1 spot the company is craving for. Not only is the phone really expensive but it’s also exclusive to Motorola’s website. That means you won’t find this extraordinary expensive cell phone anywhere else but on Motorola’s website.

$2,000 will get you a 62-carat sapphire crystal coating but nothing special under the hood: 2 megapixel camera, 2GB of memory space and a quad band GSM antenna.

Will you get this Motorola? No, of course! That’s what we thought.

It has a Swiss-made main bearing, 62-carat sapphire crystal lens, a 2 megapixels camera, stereo Bluetooth, microUSB, quad-band GSM connectivity, microSD support and multimedia capabilities.

The phone will be available exclusively from the Moto Store starting with December 4th. And yes, you heard me right, it will cost you $1999.99.
