GoliveMobile has announced that it has opened new offices in the countries of the India and the Philippines, part of its strategy to expand in Asia. Though carrying only a handful of employees for both new business hubs (30 for Manila and 50 for Bangalore), this is a the first step in their expansion strategy, perhaps preparing for a broader area of scope as far as providing mobile content services.
These new offices will initially serve as dual regional hubs for operations based in Asia. This will likewise mean additional job opportunities for qualified individuals. The company has been aggressively recruiting in both markets for the past year, working with established head hunters in local markets to find top talent.

Earlier today we reported on a Kindle 2 knockoff done by a Chinese company and thought that would be it today but boy were we wrong. What you see above is the Hello Kitty Phone 3G, an obvious iPhone knockoff branded with everyone’s favorite cartoon kitty.
Not many specs were realsed on this little device but the fact that there is a stock application on such a device makes me chuckle. Then again, maybe there are some respected business people out their with an undying passion for everything Hello Kitty, who knows.
EngadgetMobile reports that this thing costs $99, the exact same price AT&T is currently offering the iPhone 3G for. Ironic? Maybe. Ridiculous? Of course.

We’re not sure what to think on this one. We’ve told you earlier that the nuvifone is coming only to announce later that Garmin is not quite ready yet for that to happen. We’re hearing now that the phone is on track for release in the USA and that’s going to happen very soon. Are we to believe Garmin this time? You know what happened to the boy who cried wolf one too many times, don’t you?
The Asian market is also supposed to get the phone this month or sometime in early July. Will this late nuvifone be able to fight against the Pre or the iPhone?

The LG Arena, that flagship phone we’ve seen launched a while ago, has cleared through the FCC. More than one million units have been pre-ordered already in Europe and Asia while the North American market has been left wanting. The KM900 didn’t have any support for that North American HSPA but luckily all that has been changed. According to the FCC, the KM900QA will be ready to suit the needs of U.S. customers, having support for 850 and 1900 MHz HSPA bands. So are you going to order an Arena soon? Anxious of playing with that new S-Class 3D interface?
