Last month, we had posted something about UDR releasing an apartment finder to help match seekers with available apartments via the iPhone. Now, Apartments.com releases their own iPhone app which is now available at the Apple App Store. Whether you are looking for an apartment across the street or across the country, renters can now use their iPhone or iPod touch to find a new place to live.

By delivering instant access to millions of apartments through location-based searches in a visually-enhanced media format including walk through videos, photos, floorplans and integrated mapping, the Apartments.com app puts the nation’s richest apartment content in the palm of the user’s hand.

Features:

  • The most comprehensive and vivid database of millions of apartments around the country
  • GPS technology for on-the-go renters looking for an apartment nearby, or location-based search options by city/state or zip code
  • Walkthrough video tours that bring apartments to life as if the user were touring the property in person
  • Professional photography and detailed floorplans
  • Integrated mapping by Google Maps
  • Phone and email contact information for apartment properties and communities
  • Saved search functionality providing renters with easy access to saved apartment searches
  • Customized searches that allow renters to search by number of bedrooms, bathrooms, rent, pet policies, parking and more!

The Apartments.com is now available for download over at the Apple App store.

Moving or relocating can be delayed at times, normally because you don’t have a suitable place to move to. But that may soon be over as UDR, Inc. makes finding an apartment easier with their Apartment Search App that is now available at the Apple iStore.

Search among the archives of apartments available, have it reserved and check it out when you can. Place a hold and schedule when you can check it out and if you like it, get it. It is that simple!

In addition to UDR’s iPhone apartment search app, UDR has a WAP and iPhone compatible website. UDR’s mobile users during the December, 2008 to May, 2009 timeframe has shown that over 15,000 mobile apartment prospects are searching for apartments representing 34 countries.

The top countries looking for an apartment either on UDR’s WAP website or UDR’s iPhone compatible website are the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Netherlands and Japan.

Features:

  • Search for UDR apartment locations by State, region, city, price, bedrooms and bathrooms
  • UDR apartment rental locations in WA, OR, CA, AZ, TX, FL, TN, VA, MD, DC
  • GPS activation – the apartment search app knows where the user is located
  • Put the apartment properties into your “Favorites” folder for easier access later on
  • A large assortment of apartment photos, amenities and four-color floor plans
  • Robust mapping and directions to favorite apartment communities
  • Reserve and place a hold on an apartment anytime and anywhere around the world
  • Check apartment pricing that is updated daily
  • Ability to call any apartment location 24/7

The app is free to use and can be downloaded here.
