Korean customers will be able to select two new handsets from KT in the near future. One is the LG Lilac, but the most interesting one is the Samsung Prism, a WiMAX-enabled phone which could find its way to Sprint soon.
The Prism will offer WCDMA, WiFi and WiMAX connectivity which means you’ll definitely be able to enjoy decent data speeds. We’ll be waiting for more details about the Prism once KT, or Sprint, will announce it.
The LG Liliac is the other phone coming from KT, and although it’s not WiMAX enabled it will do just fine in a 3G network. Just like the Prism, the Liliac remains secret for now, but we’ll be waiting for more specs to emerge soon.

A cut in the price doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice style and design. Among the four new low-end Nokia phones just unveiled is the more affordable model of the Nokia Prism line, the Nokia 7070. In spite of the difference in price, the Nokia 7070 does not look that much difference from its high-end counterparts. It also lets you personalize your phone completely, supplying you with various themes and wallpapers, and can support MP3 ringtones. It also features an integrated hands-free speaker and voice recorder. All that for only approximately $80. Eighty bucks! A steal, right?

The 7900 Prism (on the left) features a licorice-black front and anodized aluminium backcover and is laser-etched in Nokia Prism’s signature diamond-cut design. A battery-saving Organic LED main display offering 16 million colors is the highlight, and it handles a living wallpaper that changes throughout the day according to the time and battery and signal strength. A choice of 49 illumination colors is possible on the Nokia 7900 Prism. The selected color radiates from under the key-mat. It comes with a 2 megapixel camera, 1GB of internal memory and is a quad-band 3G cell phone. There doesn’t appear to be any support for microSD memory cards. Priced at €400, it will be available in Q3 2007.
