23 Oct 09 Telus Announces the LG BL40 Chocolate
The hottest Chocolate phone so far, the BL40 has been announced by Telus. Canadians will be able to get it soon although Telus didn’t mention any arrival dates or pricing details.
In case you forgot, the phone will offer you a 4-inch WVGA touchscreen display, a front-facing 5-megapixel camera, WiFi, HSDPA, 3.5mm headset jack, a 1,000 mAh, aGPS and LG’s S Class UI. So what do you say, folks, will you get the BL40 or are you waiting for Telus to launch other phones like the iPhone 3GS or the BlackBerry 9700 Bold?

15 Oct 09 Future WIND Smartphones Get Leaked
In case you haven’t heard about WIND then you should know it’s a new carrier getting ready for the Canadian market. We don’t have that many details about it at this point but it looks like WIND has big plans for the future. Its smartphone lineup has been conveniently leaked so we have a pretty good idea of what to expect from it in the following months.
WIND will launch its 3G network and here are some of the phones it will sell soon: BlackBerry Bold 2 9700, HTC Snap, Huawei U8220 and a QWERTY slider phone from Samsung.
There are no pricing details and launch dates at this point but we’ll keep you in the loop. And if you’re already interested in WIND then you’ll be pleased to know that the new carrier is planning to start everything with three price plans that don’t require any signing of a predetermined contract. It was recently made known today that the highly sought after BlackBerry Bold 9700 will officially be coming to T-Mobile Germany this November.
If you haven’t been following this device, you may know it as the BlackBerry Bold 2 or perhaps the BlackBerry Onyx but either or, it features HSDPA, a 3.2MP camera, 480×360 display, WiFi and a BlackBerry Curve form factor.

11 Oct 09 T-Mobile Sends Invites for November Event; Preparing for the BlackBerry Bold 2
One of T-Mobile’s rumored phones supposed to be unveiled together with Project Dark is RIM’s new BlackBerry 9700 Bold 2. And it would seem that T-Mobile has already started to send out invitations to “executive briefing” events scheduled for early November. You’ll have to be in L.A. on November 3 or New York on November 5 in order to attend. By that time however, we’re probably going to have all the hot news about T-Mobile’s Project Dark, the BlackBerry 9700 Bold 2 and any other hot phones coming out in the following weeks.

10 Oct 09 Rogers to Launch BlackBerry 9700 Bold 2 on October 26?
RIM’s newest BlackBerry, the 9700 also known as the Onyx or the Bold 2 is coming to U.S. customers in the following weeks from both T-Mobile and AT&T. What about Canadian the consumer you ask? Well it looks like Rogers Wireless is going to bring the Bold 2 to Canada starting with October 26. It’s being speculated that the 9700 will be available for $299 with a new three-year contract but as long as we don’t have the actual press release to back that up, we can’t tell you anything for sure. What do you say folks? Are you ready for the new Bold in town?

09 Oct 09 BlackBerry Bold 9700 hitting T-Mobile on November
Rumors have recently surfaced that give us a hint as to when that highly sought after BlackBerry Bold 9700 will be made available for purchase.
Apparently, the above mentioned handset will be hitting T-Mobile on November 11th but until RIM or T-Mobile make an official announcement we will have to mark this one off as a rumor.
Anyone else as anxious for this phone as we are?

The next Bold version, also known as the BlackBerry 9700 Onyx is apparently coming from two U.S. carriers this month. Both T-Mobile and AT&T will launch the Bold 2 on, or around October 21. The phone will be available in the following weeks although there are no details regarding prices from neither AT&T nor T-Mobile. The Bold has been, and still is, one of the most popular phones launched by RIM so far which means that we’re probably going to love the Bold 2 as well. I’m sure that by now every T-Mobile devoted fan is aware of the fact that the BlackBerry 9700 and the Motorola Cliq are going to be released at some point in the near future. What nobody really knows are the launch dates for these new phones. According to inside sources it looks like November 11 is the day to remember. Both phones are going to come out on that day so you’d better get your financial affairs in order if you’re interested in getting one. According to previous rumors and leaks, the Cliq will be available free of charge with a new T-Mobile contract but there’s no info on how much the 9700 will cost. Now that you know when these brand new phones are coming you should make up your mind. What is it going to be? The newest Moto phone or the latest Berry from RIM?

11 Sep 09 BlackBerry Bold 9700 and Curve 8520 Found in Roger’s System
Only a few days ago we saw the official press photo of the BlackBerry Bold 9700 leaked to the public and today we find out that Canadians are also preparing for this RIM phone. Besides the 9700 another BlackBerry has been spotted in Rogers’ upgrade system. The Curve should be available early next month while the Bold will retail sometime in late October. You can also expect the Curve to cost somewhere below $100 on contract while the new Bold’s price will match the price of the Bold 9000.

T-Mobile must surely be pissed that this info got leaked ahead of its time. The press release picture here has been revealed along with some of the features of the future BlackBerry Bold 9700.
The phone will sport a traditional full QWERTY keyboard, a new optical trackpad, AWS 3G, WiFi and GPS. While the phone has already been leaked, we still have no idea when T-Mobile is going to release it but you should probably expect it to arrive sometime in November. The price is also undisclosed.

15 Aug 09 BlackBerry Storm 2 Stars in a Video
In case you’re not going to wait for the BlackBerry Bold 9700, then maybe the Storm 2 9550 is the next BlackBerry in your life. And the phone has decided to star in a brand new video.
Check out the video above and you’ll see for yourself that the phone is a lot better than its predecessor. Sure we like the backlit buttons, the metal battery door and the chrome but what we really like is the SurePress screen which will only respond to your touch when the phone is in use. And the Storm 2 seems to be a pretty fast device especially since the OS in the video is not the final version. You have lots of memory to play with, great speakers, a 3.2-megapixel camera with autofocus and BlackBerry Messenger.
The Storm 2 looks better and better and while we don’t want to presume it’s going to be an iPhone killer we sure expect it to be quite popular among RIM fans and not only. We’re just hoping that the phone in the video is the real thing. After all, why shouldn’t it be?

After we’ve just seen a white BlackBerry Bold emerge from virtually nowhere, we have now spotted a different Bold on Bell’s inventory. This Bold however is a totally new one and it’s probably a lot cooler. While we don’t have that many details about the BlackBerry Bold 9700 we know that Bell is certainly getting ready to launch it. As you can see in the picture, the HSPA Bold 9700 is featured on Bell’s inventory but that doesn’t mean it’s coming in the very near future. The phone could be available only in a few months since Bell phones usually appear on inventory lists way before actually getting launched.

Remember that Sprint leaked document we showed you yesterday? Well it looks like someone from AT&T decided to match Sprint’s leaking process and has therefore revealed some interesting handsets which are in the pre-launch phase. Among those we couldn’t help but notice the BlackBerry 9700, the HTC Tilt 2 and the Tilt 2 without a camera, that elusive Garmin Nuvifone G60, the HTC Pure aka Snap and plenty of others.
