Today is definitely a BlackBerry Tour day. The handset is already available for pre-order from Verizon Wireless in two versions, with or without a camera. And if you’re currently residing in Canada, you should know that the Tour is going to be available from Bell on July 17.

The phone will be available for $699.95 if you don’t want another 3-year contract or for $249.95 if you do want the new contract.

What would you choose between a BlackBerry Tour with a camera and one without a camera? What do you think your employer or your employees prefer? In order to please any type of future customer Verizon will sell two versions of the BlackBerry Tour. First we have the regular model that’s equipped with a camera, or you can choose to purchase the second version, a Tour that’s deprived of that camera.

The Tour is now available for pre-order from Verizon Wireless and you can get either one for the same price. You’ll end up paying $199.99 for any chosen model with a two year contract and after a $70 online discount.

Like we said earlier, we’re still waiting for Verizon to officially announce the Tour. Verizon did setup a dedicated website page for the Tour but it failed to really announce it. There are no release dates so far and there are no official prices yet. At least Sprint has told everyone how much the Tour will cost despite not mentioning any availability dates either. What will you choose folks? Verizon or Sprint for your BlackBerry Tour?

While we were actually waiting for the official Verizon announcement of the BlackBerry Tour, we can certainly work with a similar Sprint announcement. Sprint will be selling the Tour 9630 for $199.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate and a $50 instant rebate and you’ll have to sign up on a new 2-year contract to get it. What Sprint doesn’t say yet is when the phone will actually be available. You can always sign up for getting more news about the Tour and wait it out. Your move Verizon!

The BlackBerry Tour smartphone comes with a vibrant high-resolution display (480 x 360 at 245 ppi) plus intuitive trackball navigation, a large, full-QWERTY keyboard, corporate and personal email with attachment viewing, calendar, integrated address book and up to 16 GB of expandable memory with a microSD/SDHC card.

The BlackBerry Tour 9630 has come out of hiding and it looks like Bell has it up in its inventory. The Tour 9630 has a MSPR of CAD$599.95 which is about $510. Sure you’ll never going to pay that much for a BlackBerry, will you. Most probably you’re going to choose the Tour bundled with a 3-year Bell contract and you will end up paying around $199.95 or even less. Anyone else getting ready to launch the Tour soon?

RIM’s new BlackBerry 9630 seems to get a new name. The handset will be called the “Tour” when it will arrive latter this supper. The name hasn’t been officially confirmed yet but coincidentally two new domains have been recently registered: www.blackberry9630.com and www.blackberrytour.com. Does the Tour have anything to do with U2’s upcoming “360 Degrees” concert tour? We suspect so, especially as we know that the band together with RIM are working on something special for BlackBerries.

The BlackBerry 9630 Niagara is the next hot Berry out there and everyone is talking about it. The video clip above is nearly not long enough to describe all its features but it’s a start. The phone is scheduled to arrive later this year from Verizon Wireless and we’re probably going to see it arrive around the world from other carriers too. What do you think so far? What’s the hottest BlackBerry phone for you? The Niagara? The Storm? The Bold?

This time we have some release news for you, we don’t just bring more leaked pictures of the BlackBerry 9630 Niagara. The phone seems to be on its way to Verizon Wireless. The carrier will launch it in May according to various sources. Unfortunatelly we will still have to wait for Big Red to officially admit to all this and maybe offer us some prices.

We know you didn’t get a good look at the Niagara the last time around, and so here we are with some more snaps, courtesy of CrackBerry.  The guys over at CB even had an actual device to play around with and if you are the kind who prefer moving pictures, they have got videos too.  As we already told you, the BlackBerry 9630 Niagara will support both CDMA, GSM, and UMTS networks making it a world phone, has a 3.2 megapixel camera, a full QWERTY keypad, and that good old BlackBerry wickedness.  If a touchscreen BlackBerry won’t get you on, this is what you should definitely be looking at.

The BlackBerry 9630 Niagara has appeared again and this time we have better pictures. From what we can see so far the handset is turned on and it should be fully functional. So what is RIM still waiting for? If the phone works we should be able to officially get it soon. Maybe those folks with the camera and the leopard print there might be kind enough to drop a few specs our way in the near future!

The Niagara is the future BlackBerry 9630 which should arrive from Verizon Wireless in the future. It will have support for CDMA 1x, EV-DO Rev. A, GSM, GPRS, EDGE and UMTS. Unfortunately there’s no WiFi support in this Niagara. The phone might arrive in May or June but we definitely need confirmation. And we could use some pricing details too. Considering that the Pre and possibly the third-generation iPhone are also coming out around the same period, which one would you choose?
