RF Micro Devices just pushed Samsung further ahead as it has announced the its support for ramping up the Samsung’s Tocco Ultra Edition and GT-S8000 “Jet” 3G handsets with 3G cellular front-ends. These two new power amplifiers are expected to provide better power consumption and battery life as well as rich multimedia experience for smartphone users.

Both Samsung handsets, the Samsung’s Tocco Ultra Edition handset and the Samsung’s GT-S8000 Jet handset need all the power support they can get owing to their vast array of features. Among the highlighted features include an AMOLED display, GPS, media players, and built-in cameras.

With all those features stored in these Samsung handets, you know that battery consumption will be at an all-time high. However, that was before RFMD came out with their own resolution through these amplifiers, the RF3267 and RF6266.

RFMD’s RF6266 WCDMA/HSDPA PA operates in either Band 5 (824 to 849 MHz) or Band 8 (880 to 915 MHz) and delivers a similar feature set to the RF3267, with the same ultra-compact 3×3x0.9 mm package.
