Lexar has introduced a few newcomers to their Crucial line of SSDs which all fall into the M225 family.

This family will encompass the storage capacities of 64GB, 128GB and 256GB all packed into a 2.5-inch SATA compatible enclosure. The real gem with these storage devices, however, is that they have the ability of 250MBps read and 200MBps. That’s pretty darn fast, if you haven’t been paying attention.

For the 64GB, 128GB and 256GB capacities expect to pay $169.99, $329.99 and $599.99, respectively.

More Zune HD rumors

On Wednesday we got the first batch of Zune HD rumors that stated there would be 16GB/32GB models along with the fact that it would be coming on August 8th. Despite those remaining unconfirmed, more Zune HD rumors continue to trickle out.

This time around we hear that in addition to the 16GB/32GB models, consumers will also have a 64GB model to choose from at some point down the road. As for a price point, rumor has it the 16GB base model (or whatever size it actually comes in) will be had for anywhere between $249 and $280.

More excitingly, this batch of rumors also points to the fact that the Zune HD will support 720p video through its HDMI out. Again, take these how you will until we have official confirmation from Microsoft themselves.

How small a mini hard drive would you like? Portable you say? Would 64 gigs do? How about if someone got those gigs instead into a USB flash drive?

The Patriot Memory 64GB Xporter Magnum is exactly the flash drive I am talking about. It’s said it has 210x read speed so you’d probably love it if you buy it. The flash drive is certified to work with Microsoft Window ReadyBoost, in case you were wondering about that. We’ll let you know more about pricing and availability dates later when we have them!

Gone were the days when USB flash drives only supported one or two gigabytes of memory, in nowadays it is more common to see big guns standing out. That seems to be the case with Corsair and their latest Voyager release, that has 64GB of capacity.

Do the maths and imagine how many movies or songs you can have in the palm of your hand, which is a lot. It can even be used as a back-up solution to store the most important files.

As expected, the Flash Voyager features the bootable function that gives the option for users to easily start up specific programs and operative systems. Another good detail is being rugged and resistant to water.
