19 Jan 09 Acer presents new TravelMate Notebooks

Acer has recently presented 2 new units on their TravelMate series, more specifically the 6593 and 6493 which are considered business laptops. While the 6593 has a 15.4-inch screen, the TravelMate 6493 has a smaller screen at 14.1-inches.

Both notebooks come with an Intel Core 2 Duo Processor, a GMA 450MDH graphics card, and 250GB of storage capacity on the hard-drive. The memory RAM can go up to 4GB, and the screen resolution is set at 1280×800 pixels. Other features include bluetooth, an extra hard-drive, DVD-Super Multi drive, WiFi, and a webcamera.

The new TravelMate laptops have a starting price of $1,100 and come with Windows Vista Business as the operative system.
