I know 3K might not sound familiar at all to you because 3K is just a small Florida based builder. However you might be interested in their new UMPC, the Razor 400 which is available for just $299.
I have two questions. Why Razor? Couldn’t you come up with any other name? There are so many Razor things out there. Why another UMPC? Aren’t there enough already? Do we need more startup companies trying to pitch their mini laptop idea? Apparently I have more than two questions…

3K Computers has launched the Longitude 400 Mini Notebook Ultra Mobile PC. This ultra light weight PC weighs less than 2lbs. It comprises a 7-inch LCD TFT Display and a normal sized keyboard. The Longitude 400 Mini Notebook is aimed at students, mobile professionals, and people who do online browsing on the go.

Operating on Windows-friendly Linux Operating System, the Longitude 400 Mini Notebook Ultra Mobile PC lets the users work on GNUMeric - Opens Microsoft Excel Files, AbiWord - Opens Microsoft Word Files, an E-mail Client, and a PDF Reader. It also supports mobile broadband Internet.
