With the device, you can turn your iPhone to a NFC and RFID Reader/Writer for making the usual mobile transactions such as contactless payments, transit payments and top-up prepaid credit among others. This PinPhone is No iPhone!

Before you go on and pass checking out the mobile device in the image above, this is not an iPhone. It carries the same looks and can deceive you in a sec, but it is really a PinPhone, another copycat to the famed Apple iPhone. It may cater to all the physical attributes of the iPhone but when it comes to accessing the iTune store, don’t bet on it. The PinPhone 3GS is living proof how the Chinese love to come out with their own imitation products and perhaps this gadget is meant to cater to people who can’t afford to get the authentic iPhone 3GS…for now of course.

    Walkman Beats iPod in Japan

You’d better sit down for this although by the time I finished explaining you’ll see how this isn’t such a big deal after all. Sony’s Walkman players have beaten the Apple’s iPod lineup in sales. According to BCN Inc, a research company from Tokyo, the Walkman series had 43% market share for the week ending on August 30 while iPod came second with 42.1%.

It’s the first time in four years that Sony beats Apple in the music player business but here’s why this isn’t such a big deal. It looks like the iPhone isn’t considered part of the iPod line which means that everyone that purchased an iPhone wasn’t counted. Sure it’s a phone but it’s also a powerful player. And since the iPhone 3GS is the best-selling phone in Japan we wouldn’t be surprised to see the numbers above change a bit.

Have you ever wondered what an iPhone looks like after it gets shot with three bullets, doused in kerosene and lit on fire? Me neither, but that’s exactly what the unhappy iPhone user featured in the above video decided to do after he got fed up with Apple’s ‘dictatorship’.

In the end, the video does a good job showing that the owner is unhappy but what’s more is we get to see how awesomely the glass cracks after a bullet pierces it. And remember kids, don’t try this at home.

    Sanwa’s waterproof iPhone case

Sure we’ve seen the iPhone 3GS take a plunge all the way to the bottom of a pool and still work perfectly but it’s probably not the smartest idea to bank on that case. Luckily, for those who want to get their iPhones wet, without actually getting them them wet, Sanwa has recently launched a waterproof case.

As you can see above, the device can be completely submerged in water using this case without any worries of water damage. Features include a clear screen for touchscreen access and a 3.5mm jack for use with waterproof headphones.

Want one? You can pick it up now for around $34.

If there is a Cash for Clunkers program, then surely there will be one made for the iPhone. And on that note, CashforiPhones.com is offering a practically similar deal, offering cash of up to $300 for used 2G or 3G iPhones which are in good condition or not.

Yes you heard it right. They are also buying broken iPhones for the same amount, a deal that other companies are surely going to find difficult equaling. The amount gotten from this exchange would be great for consumers in buying a new iPhone 3GS in the market.

Unlike other companies, CashforiPhones provides the pre-paid, insured shipping box and packing materials. Once the seller receives a quote at www.CashforiPhones.com, he or she can receive a check or even an instant Paypal deposit.

What happens to the traded-in phones? CashforiPhones refurbishes them and recycles them. They erase the existing memory (if it is working) and then refurbished for re-sale to wholesale recyclers.

    SEG Clip for iPhones

Most iPhone owners would love to discover new ways to enhance their iPhones. While these mobile devices from Apple are known to be able to play videos in certain formats, portable TV tuners may be one thing lacking. Similar to the desktop PC, a TV tuner may be needed and that is exactly what this USB clip aims to deliver.

Called the SEG Clip, this USB clip from Japan allows users to enjoy TV viewing right from their very own iPhones. The SEG Clip supports 1SEG, a TV standards used in Japan, Peru and Brazil. One catch is that is should be hooked on to a PC’s USB port that will thereafter allow the user to stream digital TV data to their iPhone via WiFi connection.

Just in case you cannot finish watching the TV program, you can get a software called the TVPlayer which can save TV programs for later viewing. The program is free over at the Japan App Store.

Compatible with the iPhone 3G, 3GS and the iPod Touch, the SEG Clip will be released by the end of the month in Japan and will carry a $70 price tag.

  • This is the true story of how T-Mobile UK has been able to sell iPhone 3G units despite the official Apple partner in the UK is O2. And O2 exclusivity deal will expire in September if not later.

T-Mobile has been offering iPhone 3G units to its most exclusive clientele. The company apparently has been selling up to 150 phones a week to those customers that have contracts of at least £75 per month. T-Mobile is basically a reseller that offers SIM-free iPhones as an incentive method for its high-roller customers. That means T-Mobile UK isn’t doing anything illegal. Immoral, sure, but we’re living some rough economic times.

When will T-Mobile start selling that hot new iPhone 3GS? Maybe sometime in October?

The iPhone 3G may be getting cheaper and this is largely due to the limited number of networks available on their price plans. While many groups have tried to woo most new iPhone 3G and 3GS users of solutions with regards to having an unlocking solution to allow them to use it for other networks, iPhone Unlocking Ltd. has announced the iPhone Unlocking Software which should be reliable for people who want to put the “limited” options broken.

One feature of the iPhone Unlocking Software is that upon unlocking your iPhone, you don’t have to worry about losing any of the hidden features of the iPhone. This means that iPhone user have absolute freedom on the network of their choice and retain the functional features of their iPhone 3G or 3GS.

The Unlock iPhone 3G and Unlock iPhone 3Gs software comes with a full 30 day money back guarantee, lifetime updates and most important of all, lifetime support. If you require first class service at an affordable price, there is only one simple choice you have to make.

AT&T desperately wants to get rid of its iPhone 3G stock. The carrier is now offering the 8GB iPhone 3G for a lot less than it did before. The “old” refurbished iPhone will cost you now just $49 but you’ll also have to get a new 2-year contract. If you’re not interested in the iPhone 3GS but looking for a new phone then you should definitely consider an iPhone 3G. At $49 it’s a bargain even if you’re only getting a refurbished model.
