The Little Red Sled for iPhones

Make way for another game for the iPhone. The new game is a 3D racing game which promises to provide fun and test just how good you are at skiing in the snow. The game is from Imangi Studios titled the Little Red Sled.

The controls are simple, you just tilt your iPhone or iPod as you would with any steering wheel. For tricks you just shake it (but be sure not to do it too hard like crazy). The game totally relies on the motion or the stature of your iPhone although sensitivity level adjustments are sure to be around.

The game is made up of 15 levels, each varying in difficulty. The goal is to achieve the instructions which include that of retrieving certain gifts or amassing a certain number of points. Either way, you can expect a crazy ride trying to figure out this game and what is in store in the end.

Little Red Sled is compatible with any iPhone or iPod touch running the iPhone 2.1 software update.

If you think that EA only made Tiger Woods PGA Tour and Need for Speed for the usual game consoles then guess again. EA Mobile has made them compatible with iPhones and are actually available at the Apple App Store.

Tiger Woods PGA TOUR and Need for Speed Undercover were created for the unique capabilities of the iPhone and iPod touch and providing the graphic quality and simulation experience that is core to these successful franchises. Tiger Woods PGA TOUR players will use the touch capabilities to draw back a golf club to tee off for a round at Pebble Beach. Need for Speed Undercover players will outrun the cops while navigating the roads using the accelerometer feature.

“Tiger Woods PGA TOUR brings the ultimate mobile golf experience to the iPhone and iPod touch, including the world’s No. 1 golfer, legendary courses and an interface that leverages these great devices,” said Adam Sussman, VP of Worldwide Publishing for EA Mobile. “Need for Speed players will lose themselves in the most intense 3D racing environment EA has brought to mobile phones.”

Tiger Woods PGA TOUR and Need for Speed Undercover are currently available worldwide from Apple’s App Store on iPhone and iPod touch or at www.itunes.com/appstore. Additional EA Mobile iPhone and iPod touch titles available include: TRIVIAL PURSUIT and Lemonade Tycoon, joining previously released Spore Origins, SimCity, SCRABBLE, Tetris, MONOPOLY Here & Now: The World Edition, YAHTZEE Adventures and Sudoku.
