Samsung’s new phone, the BlackJack II, was unveiled during the CTIA 2007 in San Francisco. The phone (model i617) is a 3G HSDPA phone running on Windows Mobile 6 and is a quad-band GSM world phone. It boasts of integrated GPS along with TeleNav GPS navigator. There’s also support for AT&T’s Video Share service that allows you to share live video while on a voice call. T-Mobile and Research In Motion unveiled the new BlackBerry Curve 8320, touted as the first all-in-one handset to work with T-Mobile’s HotSpot @Home. The Wi-Fi enabled BlackBerry Curve 8320 allows for in-home mobile coverage, something of an oxymoron around some parts of the nation. The Curve 8320 will be available in pale gold and titanium finishes, and features RIM’s smallest and lightest yet QWERTY handset design.
The BlackBerry Curve 8320 also features a 2 megapixel camera, and standard apps include audio and video players (supported formats include MP3, AAC, WMA, WAV, MPEG4, H.263 and WMV). It is equipped with a 3.5mm stereo headset jack and offers a microSD memory card for expanding the available storage. Measuring 4.2″ x 2.4″ x 0.6″, the phone weighs in at 3.9 oz and is enabled for T-Mobile’s myFaves feature. On-board IM clients include support for AOL, Yahoo!, Windows Live, ICQ and Google Talk.

According to reports, the Levis phone will be released as early as next month exclusively to Carphone Warehouse. With the popular Levis logo etched onto the back, the phone even features metal screws that resemble the rivets found on Levis jeans. As can be expected, there will also be denim cases available for the phone with the famous red tab intact.
Don’t expect it to be a state-of-the-art mobile phone though. It comes with a 2 megapixel camera, microSD memory card slot and Bluetooth (including A2DP support). There’s an MP3 player on-board the phone.

A Nokia mobile phone, identified only as RM-310, has just got the nod from the FCC. The phone features Java MIDP support and has a microSD memory card slot for expanding the available memory. There’s a USB data cable connectivity for syncing with your PC/laptop. As with most other Nokia phones, there’s Bluetooth support as well. The RM-310 also features a 2 megapixel camera, and you can tilt the camera in landscape mode to conveniently take photographs or videos. It features an LED flash as well.
With Visual Radio support, you can view information about radio programs that you are listening to on the included FM radio receiver (which, of course, is dependent on the station). If you have an external Bluetooth GPS receiver, you can use the Positioning feature on the phone to view your current location, track distances or create routes.
The phone also features Nokia’s mini-map full-fledged web browser. Productivity applications on the phone include Quickoffice, featuring Quickword, Quicksheet and Quickpoint.
No word on the pricing or availability yet, but thanks to the FCC approval, the phone should hit the markets soon.
