Earlier this week we showed you what was supposedly a leaked Zune HD Best Buy display stand that said the device would be hitting store shelves on September 18th of this year. That was only added to the fact that Amazon.com had Zune HD up for pre-order the same day giving us a hint at the device’s price.
Well today, Microsoft soft has come clean and let us know that the Zune HD will in fact be hitting retailers on September 18th in 16GB and 32GB models for $219.99 and $289.99 respectively.
What’s more is, not only has Amazon re-listed the device for pre-order but Microsoft, Best Buy and Walmart have done the same.

With all the smartphones around we certainly could use a new 16GB microSDHC card for more storage. Kingstom has announced its new flash memory card an the MWC in Spain and you should be able to get one real soon.

MWC 2009 might bring us, among other Samsung products, the 16GB Omnia. While it is not official yet, the new Omnia will come with quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and single-band UMTS/HSDPA connectivity, a 3.2-inch WQVGA touchscreen, a 5 megapixel camera with built-in flash and a secondary QCIF front camera. Bluetooth, WiFi and GPS will also be there so this Omnia will be at least as dependable as the first version, with twice the storage space inside.

Someone clearly didn’t ready the soup recipe for the next generation iPod nano. Therefore Apple manufactured a few, and by a few I mean a small, undisclosed amount, new nanos with only 4GB of memory available. The nano will come only in two sizes officially: 8GB and the 16GB. The 4GB version spotted in Europe is probably the bastard brother that nobody planned for. (more…)
