It’s not a secret anymore that Apple is going to launch a 10-inch tablet in the near future. But we now hear that the Cupertino-based company is also considering launching 13-inch and 15-inch tablets. It it just me or have these Apple tablets have just gotten hotter?

Like always we can’t confirm these rumors and Apple will certainly not confirm them either. It looks like some iPhone-like big aluminum tablets have been spotted in a factory in Shenzuen, China. And it’s being reported that at least one of these bigger tablets was running Mac OS X. Should we expect Apple to come up with a whole new tablet line?

Apple announced at the WWDC 2009 an absolutely amazing new 13-inch MacBook update. And I think it’s safe to call it the 13-inch MacBook Pro since Apple is already doing it. The unibody 13-inch MacBook Pro is going to offer quite some features while the 13-inch MacBook white will be known as the 13-inch MacBook. So here are the new features of the shiny, aluminum MacBook Pro:

  • similar 7-hour, non-removable battery
  • SD slot
  • a new display
  • up to 8GB of memory
  • a 500GB HDD or 256GB SSD
  • a backlit keyboard
  • Firewire 800 (guess who’s back)

Impressed yet? Well what if I told you that the new 13-inch is available starting today with prices starting at $1,199.

Remember that ultra-thin laptop MSI has conceived? Well the X-Slim X320 is now ready to ship to American customers for just $599. The laptop will offer you a 13-inch screen, an Intel Atom Z530 1.6GHz processor, 2GB of RAM, a 250GB HDD, a 4-cell battery, an Intel Menlow US15W chipset, integrated GMA 500 graphics card and Windows Vista Home Premium. Other features include a 1.3 megapixel webcam, Bluetooth, 802.11n WiFi card, stereo speakers and a bunch of useful ports: Ethernet LAN, three USB ports, a 2-in-1 media card reader and a VGA output. This is certainly the slimmest 13-inch laptop you could acquire as it’s only between 6 and 20mm thin so you should definitely get it if that’s what you’re looking for. Or would you rather get the MacBook Air instead?
