We know the G2 is coming from T-Mobile and we know it’s an Android phone. What we didn’t know yet was the fact that T-Mobile will launch a whole line of G phones this year. A G-series of Android smartphones is about to be born and T-Mobile is certainly going to profit off of it. Neville Ray, T-Mobile’s senior vice president of engineering and operations said in an interview:

As the year progresses there will be a significant number of HSPA-capable smart phones. We will be launching more G series phones and other products.

What more do you need? Well more details of course. When are we going to get them? Are they all going to be manufactured by HTC? Will T-Mobile improve its 3G network coverage?
