T-Mobile to Launch Monthly Postpaid Service… At Last!

T-Mobile was supposed to launch its postpaid contract options some time ago. August 6th to be precise. People have been talking about it since July and when the D-Day came, nothing happened. Instead of T-Mobile customers being able to choose month-to-month postpaid plans, they were stuck with the same payment plans and pay-as-you-go offers.

It looks like T-Mobile hasn’t forgotten about it and D-Day should have been today. Up to now I haven’t heard nor read anything like that from T-Mobile.

All new and current customers can sign up for the new postpaid plan as long as they don’t have to wait until their current contract ends. T-Mobile will check your credit and it will charge you an activation fee. The postpaid packages will be modeled after the current yearly postpaid packages. Or so do rumors say.

But while I am writing all this I have no idea whether we’re going to see this go live today.
