T-Mobile Sidekick iD Launches April 25th
Expect Danger's Sidekick iD to hit T-mobile stores on April 25th. As a cheaper solution to the Sidekick 3, you should be able to pick up the Sidekick iD for around $99 with a two year contract.
Being a lower-end model of the Sidekick 3, there are some extra features which are noteably missing. The Sidekick iD is lacking in Bluetooth capabilites, a digital camera, and also support for a memory card. Although missing a few extras, the handset can be easily customized for a phone individually styled for each owner with removable/replacable exterior panels. With the Sidekick iD offering improved personalization and better pricing, the popularity of the Sidekick will open up to a wider range of consumers.
