03 Oct 08 T-Mobile Sell Lots of G1 Handsets; Increases Production

T-Mobile’s recently launched G1 Android phone is really hot right now. You must be a Ballmer not to see it yet. And it looks like the public is responding well to it. We’ve told you how T-Mobile has already finished the amount of handsets available for pre-sale. A T-Mobile official said the carrier has depleted stock despite the fact it had tripled the numbers of G1s to be pre-sold.

So Apple watch-out! There’s a new kid in town. And it has big plans for the future. Sure we can’t say how many actual devices T-Mobile sold but I’d say they were quite a few. Pre-order is still available although you might receive the phone after the actual in-store launch scheduled for October 22nd.
