06 Nov 08 T-Mobile Launches Samsung Behold and Gravity

The Samsung T919 Behold and the Samsung Gravity have been officially launched by T-Mobile.

The Behold is a touchscreen device which will get you that TouchWiz experience with haptic feedback, 3G support, full HTML web browser and a 5-megapixel camera with video support. The phone will be available starting with November 10 and it will cost $149.99 with a contract.

The Gravity is a candybar phone with a secret function. It’s a QWERTY slide-out keyboard. That’s about the greatest feature of it. The phone costs $49.99 with a two-year plan and it’s going to be available a week later, starting with November 17.

It’s a great phone, much better than the Samsung Instinct, I personally played with the phone when I was in T-Mobile, there’s already a fans website out there at http://www.Samsung-Behold.com with a lot of good info to help you make the right decision.

I really like this phone (Gravity) even though T-Mobile will not honor their rebate on it. They did not honor my rebate on my last upgrade either. I followed all the rules exactly on both rebates. I know, I was dumb to trust T-Mobile. Anyway, there is one odd thing about the phone. The battery power indicator is like a bad gas gauge on a car. Their are 5 bars. The first two will disappear in a day or two. The third stays on for another day or two. The next to last bar lasts 2 or three more days, then it will show the last bar for a week. You never know how much battery power you have left.

The t-mobile Gravity is a great phone! The colors are cool, the full QWERTY keyboard is great, and the calling/sound quality is one of the best you could get in a phone! Some people have complained about because you can’t use other stuff for your message tone besides the ones given to you, but that is because of samsung! I have had three different samsung phones that don’t let you do that, and its really not that big a deal. As for the complaints about the battery not lasting long, just turn of the annoying keypad tone because it wastes battery. So does bluetooth, so don’t keep it on 24/7. I text ALOT and yet i have been able to have my phone not die for two straight days! Overall, this is a great phone that I would give four and a half stars out of five.

personally i loved this phone when i first got it. now i hate it. i have had for four months and it sucks. it frequently shuts off by its self. especially if i set it down on a hard surface. also the spring had come out of the qwerty keyboard and i had to shove it back in and now it scratchs all the paint off the back and it sticks really bad when you slide it. i text 24/7 and the battery life sucks. i can let it charge for two hours and when i take it off it will only have 4 bars. i hate this phone. i hope the second on is better
