T-Mobile G1 to be Tethered?By Chris - 11/05/2008 7:00:23 PM |
Before the iPhone 3G was launched we were already passing around rumors about its tethering abilities. After the phone was released we didn’t get any official tethering support although people have tried. Now the G1 is the latest hot phone and the tethering questions remains.
A Graham Stewart took the problems in his hands and made an Android proxy application which will tether your G1. You will be able to share your Internet connection with your computer via USB. The application works but it’s not officially recognized by Google or T-Mobile. Fortunately it’s not forbidden yet by neither of them.
