T-Mobile Already Sold Over One Million G1sBy Chris - 04/23/2009 6:52:11 PM |

T-Mobile seems happy to announce that it has sold over one million G1 Android phones in the USA so far. That’s quite an achievement considering that the phone has been launched by a carrier who’s 3G network is still young. As a matter of fact the G1 is the most popular 3G phone sold by T-Mobile so far considering that from the 1.5 million 3G handsets active on T-Mobile’s network over a million are represented by HTC’s G1. Considering that T-Mobile is going to expand the current 3G network and that the carrier is planning more Android phones for 2009, are we to expect more and more subscribers to switch to an Android-powered T-Mobile handset? And let’s not forget that this year the competition is going to unveil some serious smartphones: Sprint will bring the Pre, AT&T the next-gen iPhone and Verizon the Storm 2 and not only. What about you? Have you purchased your first Android phone yet?
