Systemax Assault Ruggedized Notebook
Systemax has announced its latest notebook PC with a strange name - Assault Ruggedized. As the name suggests, this is a robust notebook that comes with a magnesium alloy case,an anti-shock design, and a keyboard + touchpad + buttons that are spill resistant, so you don't have to worry the next time you spill some coffee onto the laptop.
In terms of specifications, the Systemax Assault Ruggedized Notebook comes with an Intel Core Duo T2350 processor running at 1.86Ghz, 512MB of DDR RAM memory which can be upgraded up to 4B, and a hard-drive (SATA 5400 RPM) of 60GB.
Additional features include an Intel Graphics Card, more exactly a GMA (Graphics Media Accelerator) 950 with DirectX 9 and Dynamic Video Memory Technologies 3.0, which can have its memory go up to 224MB.
The display screen is on the XGA type and it measures 14.1-inches, which gives a 1024x768 resolution. Other features include Wi-Fi, and a 4-in-1 memory card reader.
The Systemax Assault Ruggedized Notebook has a base price of $1,000.
