This looks like something that should have been announced at the BlackBerry convention in Orlando last week, but for those who want their BlackBerry synced with their BMW, you are in for a treat.

This program known as the Message Access Profile (MAP) and can beam emails and contacts over BMW iDrive dash system. So you can get your messages via text-to-speech, or make calls with the speakerphone.

It plans to work with the Pearl 3G, and be an integrated part of BlackBerry 6. I’d like to see more about this BlackBerry integrated with an automobile.
