Supported iPhone accessories now ask if you want to download its app

Not too long ago we let you know that Griffin’s latest iTrip would ship alongside an app controller that will be offered on the App Store.

Well, it seems that to make such a thing easier to consumers Apple has snuck in the feature that will allow connected accessories to prompt you if you want to download the associated app, as you can see above. This is compared to having to sort through the seemingly endless list of apps looking for the correct one.

Let’s see what other accessory manufacturers utilize this feature.
