Strix System's New In-Vehicle MWS 100
Wireless mesh networking company, Strix Systems, has released the new Mobile Wireless System 100 or MWS-100 -- a connection for mobile wireless broadband designed for public safety and transportation systems. It uses 802.11a for public safety applications, while the ordinary person can access it on 802.11g. The device is small and compact, designed for ever type of vehicle. It features multi-RF, multi-channel, multi-megabit capabilities. It also offers four times increase in power can be used for laptops, PDAs and other 4.9 GHz devices.
