Stolen iPad? Automatically erase that data.By Mark Rollins - 07/26/2010 4:43:24 PM |
I found this particular thing on the net today, which I thought would be helpful for iPad users.
After all, if you iPad gets stolen, not only have you lost the cost of it, but a thief has potential to access personal information. However, what if you could make it so the data is erased if your iPad was stolen? I believe that the iPhone has some sort of data wipe you can do.
Here are some steps how, and my Source has more information.
1. Tap the Settings icon on the home screen
2. Tap on “General”
3. Tap on “Passcode Lock”
4. Set a code if you have not already done so
5. Tap Turn Passcode On
6. Slide the bar on “Erase Data” to “On”
