08 Oct 08 Sprint’s XOHM Has Been Priced

We’ve already told you that the XOHM was available in various cities, although Sprint was testing it. Starting today the XOHM is official in Baltimore and we have prices for you.

There are two versions to choose from, Home and On-the-Go. One is for your home and one for your mobile. I dare you to guess who’s who!

The Home option costs $25 per six months for the first six months and after that it’s $35 per month. The On-the-Go plan is priced at $30 per month for the first six months and then $45 per month. Combining the two is possible and the plan is called Pick 2. It costs $50 per month for the first six months and then $65 per month. In case you need XOHM on a daily basis you can choos the Daily On-the-Go option which costs $10 per day.

You will need some proper equipment for XOHM to work. The XOHM ExpressCard modem is priced $59.99. The XOHM Modem/Gateway costs $79.99 and the XOHM USB modem doesn’t have a price yet.

What do you think about the WiMAX from Sprint? Anyone from Baltimore to share their experience with it? A bit expensive but downloads from 2-4Mbps and uploads from 1-2Mbps might be worth it.
