24 Aug 08 Sprint’s Phone as a Modem for Only $15 per Month

Sprint Nextel appears to have lowered the price of their Phone as Modem add on plans to $15 per month. That’s a huge $35 drop from the initial $50 per month fee. That’s quite a good deal or certainly a better one than what Sprint had running before.

In order to qualify for it you’ll have to abide by some rules. First of all you will need to own a Power Vision phone which can be tethered to a computer. Then you should get a data plan if you didn’t have one, just so you have the data to tether. Keep in mind that Sprint has a 5GB monthly data usage limit and a 300MB off-network limit in place and don’t go overboard too often.

Note that Sprint charges $15 monthly to use your phone as a modem plus an additional $30 for the Sprint Pro Pack.
