Perhaps Sprint really is undercutting everybody else's call plans in order to promote something. And that something, according to rumors going around, is that Sprint is releasing 5 new handsets this April.
Said handsets are reportedly the following:
LG LX400: A handset with a MSRP of US$279.99.
Sanyo PRO-200: A slim clamshell with a MSRP of $249.99

BlackBerry Curve 8830 Titanium: Titanium version of the black BlackBerry Curve 8830.
Sanyo Katana LX: A basic low-end handset with VGA camera and Bluetooth replacing the Katana II; would be available in black, pink, and blue.
Additionally, Sprint is also reportedly releasing a new data card. One of the options is said to be the Sierra Wireless 597.
All of the above will allegedly be launched on April 16, 2008. However, these are merely rumors which could be debunked. So watch out for our subsequent reporting about these new handsets which Sprint Nextel will or will not launch.
