Sprint QChatSprint just announced that subscribers in 40 more markets will be able to access their QChat push and talk service. QChat will be available for upcoming devices such as the LX400 by LG, Z400 by Samsung, and PRO-200 and PRO-700 by Sanyo.

Dose all this feel like a Nextel thing? Well yes it is. The service will be called Nextel Direct Connect. If you’re curious about prices the LG LX 400 will be up for grabs for $79.99, the Samsung SPH-Z400 for $99.99, the Sanyo Pro-200 at $49.99 and the Sanyo Pro-700 at $79.99. There’s a two year contract involved and a $50 mail in rebate for every model. That’s what you need to pay if you want to push and talk Nextel’s style and you can start buying today.

I guess that’s what I didn’t like from Nextel before so I wouldn’t hurry to get such a plan. Others grew fond of the push and talk feature so they’ll be happy to have it from Sprint too.
