Sprint Hero Android 2.1 finally getting pushed outBy Jeff Baker - 05/19/2010 9:50:48 AM |

Back in March we let you know that the Sprint version of the HTC Hero would be getting it’s operating system upgraded to Android 2.1 at some point in the near future. Well, here we are months later and the update is only just being pushed out.
Unfortunately, Sprint is still working on getting the upgrade up for download on their site so if you want to download it that way you might have some problems. Luckily, if you update the operating system straight from your device, Sprint assures us that you should come across no problems.
Now, Hero owners, rejoice as you can now finally utilize the highly sought after Google Maps Navigation feature!
