Sprint gives Pre customers $100 service credit for ported numbers, says it was an error

Sprint has come up with quite the incentive — It seems that the carrier will offer those who port their numbers from another carrier and purchase a Palm Pre with a 2-year contract $100 worth of service credit.

Before you get too excited, know that Sprint has already pulled this promotion saying it was “put into the system in error”. However, those who purchased a Palm Pre during the promotion will be rewarded with the $100 worth of service credit.

Perhaps we will see this promotion resurface at some point in the near future?
