Sprint announces new WiMax markets

Sprint LogoSprint has announced a few new markets that will boast its WiMax network in the near future, these locations include Boston, Denver, Kansas City, Houston, Minneapolis, New York, San Francisco, and Washington DC. Taking in consideration that Sprint already offers WiMax in 27 markets, I’d say this is a pretty good addition.

At the moment there is no exact information about the “release date” or number of WiMax in the new markets, but Sprint expects to have 120 million users at the end of 2010. Their actual WiMax plan costs $60 and includes access to 3G/4G networks.
