Earlier today we notified you of the Vaio X‘s existence but weren’t able to secure many pictures of the device seeing as it was announced so recently. Now, however, our friends over at Netbook News have gotten their hands on Sony‘s device at this year’s IFA only to give us an in depth look at it.

As mentioned earlier, this device is extremely thin at just 14mm and is rumored to feature an Intel Atom processor making for an extremely long battery life.

No official word of a release date but it will reportedly ship next month coupled with Windows 7.
