Sony W880 is the slimmest phone yet

|

Today Sony announced the new W880 Walkman phone, which is a follow-up to the highly successful W810 Walkman phone that has sold nearly 20 million units to date. The W880 is just 9.4mm thin, making it their thinnest Walkman phone yet. The W880 will not only fit easily in your pocket, but it also packs in a lot of nice features.

The Sony W880 is the perfect phone for those who like extra entertainment features. The phone includes a number of handy music applications, including Walkman Player 2.0 and Disc2Phone, which allows you to enjoy your music anywhere. The included software also makes it simple to transfer music to your phone, and scroll through the playlists once on your phone. With the included 1GB Sony Memory Stick Micro (M2), you'll be able to store up to 900 full-length songs. The phone also features a nice 2-megapixel camera.

The Sony Sony Ericsson W880 Walkman phone is a UMTS 2100 GPRS 900/1800/1900 phone which is about as slim as a standard CD case. It will be available in select markets in Q1 2007. The phone features a brushed stainless steel finish and two color choices: Steel Silver or Flame Black.
