With wonderful styling, the FZ-series gets an elegant black and silver finish with magnesium alloy for the lid and base. The notebook is based on the brand-new Intel Centrino platform and it?s Processor choices include the Intel? Core? 2 Duo Processors T7100 and T7300. Depending on model the notebook will receive either 1GB or 2GB SDRAM memory. Hard disk size options can go up to a spacious 200GB.

VAIO FZ-series laptops get a quality 15.4? widescreen X-black LCD display panel using ?BRAVIA? backlight technologies to offer astonishing visual performance with realistic colors and vivid hues. To power the graphics, the FZ-series uses an NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GT GPU that offers excellent 3D graphics performance and hardware HD decoding for playback and editing of high definition movies. Hook up the computer to a HD-ready TV with the HDMI output to get the most of the VAIO Fz-series HD capabilities.

Other features to take note of are the integral Blu-ray Disc optical drive w/ recording capabilities, easy access to dedicated AV buttons for convenient control of multimedia playback, integrated webcam, and USB 2.0.
